Yesterday, the Young Curators opened a successful art festival at the Culture Houses in Kópavogur, Iceland.
Alongside the art exhibitions, the guests were also invited to attend numerous artistic workshops and experience a jazz-storytelling-concert for the whole family (and even be crowned the Badass of Jazz)!
At the workshops, children of all ages had the opportunity to turn old furniture into adventurous creatures, paint magic rocks, learn about organic farming at home and habitats of various animals, among other things.
Between workshops, guests could also visit four art installations: An interactive poetry book, a photography show, a podcast about extinction risk biosphere and animals in Iceland and, an introduction into growing food at home.
